MODELAGEM DO PROBLEMA DA ALOCAÇÃO DE FROTA APLICADO NA AVIAÇÃO REGIONAL BRASILEIRA A PARTIR DE FERRAMENTAS DA PESQUISA OPERACIONAL

Abstract

THE PAPER’S MAIN GOAL IS THE CREATION OF AN OPTIMAL AIRLINE NETWORK FROM THE RESOLUTION OF THE FLEET ASSIGNMENT PROBLEM (FAP) CONSIDERING 6 TYPES OF AIRCRAFT (JETS AND TURBOPROPS) FOR DIFFERENT ROUTES CONNECTED TO 12 HUBS IN BRAZIL. THE NETWORK WAS DEVELOPED FROM EXISTING RESOURCES IN THE FIELD OF OPERATIONS RESEARCH (OP) APPLIED TO A PYTHON ALGORITHM WRITTEN USING THE LIBRARIES NUMPY AND PANDAS IN ADDITION TO THE PULP FRAMEWORK. A PREEXISTING NETWORK DEVELOPED BY OTHER RESEARCHERS WAS USED IN THE STUDY; THE MAIN FOCUS INITIALLY WAS TO REDUCE COMPUTATIONAL COMPLEXITY MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO EXPAND THE ANALYZED SCENARIOS. IT WAS INTRODUCED TO THE ALGORITHM THE CONCEPT OF AN OPTIMALITY GAP FOR THE OP SOLUTION. AFTER THAT, IT WAS ALSO POSSIBLE TO MAKE DIFFERENT ALTERATIONS IN THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL IN ORDER TO APPROXIMATE THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN THE PAPER TO THE BRAZILIAN AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY; THE MAIN CHANGES MADE WERE RELATED TO THE CASK (COST PER AVAILABLE SEAT KILOMETER) AND THE INTRODUCTION OF NEW RESTRICTIONS TO THE OP MODEL.
