PROJETO EMBARQUE MAIS SEGURO¶
Abstract¶
The National Civil Aviation Secretariat of the Ministry of Infrastructure (SAC/MInfra), in partnership with the Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro), developed a joint project to establish a biometric identification program for passengers, with a view to improving facilitation and the security of airport processes. The project, called Safer Embarkation, provides for the validation of the identity of air transport users through consultation of government databases, initially the database of the National Driver’s License (CNH) of the National Traffic Department (Denatran) and later with other government databases, performing the conference between the biometric data recorded in them and the image of the passenger captured at each airport control point, from check-in to boarding the aircraft, allowing a safe and reliable identification of the traveler.
