ANÁLISE CRÍTICA DAS OCORRÊNCIAS DE RISCO EM PAVIMENTOS AEROPORTUÁRIO BRASILEIROS¶
Abstract¶
The growing demand for air transport has generated more investment in projects and the construction of airfields in Brazil. However, with more operations, the probability of accidents and incidents suffers interference. For safety to be maintained, it is necessary to comply with rules and regulations to monitor risk events with detailed information about their occurrence and causes. Thus, this paper aims to critically analyze three risk occurrence types made available by the SIPAER Panel of the Center for the Prevention and Investigation of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA). The analyzed events were: runway excursions, loss of control on the ground, and tire bursts, which occurred between 2012 and 2022. Through the analysis, it was possible to identify the type of airfield where the events occur more often, the states with higher occurrences, and the severity distribution of these events. We concluded that there is a deficiency in the compliance of occurrence data with important information, such as the airport. Moreover, we noticed that the airfields with the highest number of risk occurrences are the smaller ones, which may indicate a lack of monitoring of the conditions of the runways of these locations.
